Governs how Alex Tech ensures equal treatment across all platforms, communities, and operations.


Overview

This Act establishes the framework for equality, diversity, and anti-discrimination within all Alex Tech operations, platforms, and communities. It applies to all staff, partners, affiliates, and community members.


Definitions

TermMeaning
Protected CharacteristicsAge, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation
DiscriminationUnfair treatment of individuals based on protected characteristics
HarassmentUnwanted conduct related to a protected characteristic that violates dignity or creates a hostile environment
VictimisationDetrimental treatment of an individual for making or supporting a complaint under this Act

Principles

Alex Tech prohibits all forms of direct and indirect discrimination, harassment, and victimisation. All individuals are to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of protected characteristics.

Alex Tech commits to:

  • Promote equal opportunities in recruitment, promotion, and community access
  • Take reasonable steps to prevent harassment and discrimination
  • Ensure accessibility and fair participation for all individuals
  • Support inclusion through awareness, training, and policy transparency

Process

Reporting

  1. Report - Submit violation to Internal Affairs with supporting evidence
  2. Investigation - A thorough review including interviews, documentation, and evidence collection
  3. Evaluation - All documentation, screenshots, and statements are assessed
  4. Decision - Final determination by Internal Affairs leadership and Upper Management

Reports against Staff or Management members are escalated directly to Upper Management.

Sanctions

Violations are subject to disciplinary measures based on severity:

  • Mute
  • Warning
  • Kick
  • Temporary or permanent ban
  • Blacklist

Final Provisions

Effective Date - Immediately upon publication.

Amendments - May only be made by Internal Affairs leadership and Upper Management, with proper documentation and community notification.
